My Experience of Doing Housework
As a family member, it's our duty to help our parents do housework. In our everyday life, I often do some housework, such as sweeping the floor or tidying the room.
Last Sunday, when my parents went out shopping to buy food for lunch, I began to clean my house. First, I swept the floor and wiped the table. Then, I collected all the books and other things and put them in place. Finally, I took all the rubbish out. When my parents came back, they were surprised and praised me. I felt so happy at that time.
I have learned that sharing the housework with our parents means showing love to them. It can help to develop our independence and teach us how to look after ourselves. It can also help us to understand the idea of fairness. So I suggest all of us should take action from now on.
